New Departure Procedures for Runway 01

Please review the Canada Flight Supplement for the new departure and arrival procedures that will be assigned by Langley Tower when Runway 01 is active, generally referred to as the Trinity, and Thunderbird Arrivals, and the Intersection Departure.

Basically, the procedures are designed to reduce conflict between arriving and departing aircraft when Runway 01 is in used as both tend to track to the northeast of the airport.

These procedures came into effect on July 2, 2009 in conjunction with the new VTA (34th Edition).
